These pictures are collages of some of the most important people and events in my life. Every picture makes me think of the people, events, and moments that have shaped me into the person I am now. My family and friends have always been there for me, helping me through hard times and sharing my successes. They encourage me to keep growing as a person and tell me how important it is to connect with others. Being around caring people has taught me how important it is to make friends who are there for you when you need them. I need to have these experiences in both my personal and work life. Giving kids the same kind of support and advice that I got as a child is something I want to do to help them grow. I think that by making positive learning spaces, I can help kids do well in school, on the social and emotional levels, as well as the intellectual ones. Some of the pictures in this collage, those from school events, sports, and club activities, show how much I like working with other people. Working with other people has made me a better leader, communicator, and listener. When I work with kids, these skills are very important because they help me build trust and encourage growth. I know that kids learn best when they are in a safe, supportive, and interesting environment.
