> This assignment aims at encouraging students’ creativity and improving their Business English language skills.

 

> Concretely speaking, the assignment consists of one dialogue in which students roleplay a caller and a receiver. The dialogue includes expressions, chunks of sentences, and other business-related aspects and vocabulary studied so far in the English language course. Refer to padlet to get an overview of the studied chapters and units.

During Ms Ingletti's lessons – from 11:00 am to 12.50 pm on December 14th – you will be preparing, writing, and finally roleplaying and recording your dialogue.

 

At school. However, to record your dialogues professionally, you might want to consider working somewhere student-friendly and quiet. Rooms will be booked in advance.

 

a) On Tuesday 13th December, you will be told the name of the classmate you'll work with.

b) In order to find inspiration, refer to the worksheets and exercises we’ve worked with so far.

c) Write one dialogue and practise role-playing it.

d) With respect to the content of your dialogues, be creative and innovative.

e) When recording your video, make sure you’re in the videos and do not forget to act naturally. Don't look in the camera, use body language, and facial expressions to look natural.

 

 

> Each student will be given ½ a mark (refer to table to find out about the assessment criteria).
