The rainy clouds, grey clouds, and the white blue clouds have a good contrast making the rainbow stand out. The quote itself is very light and delicate. Metaphorically it's saying that in life their are bad times but at the end it's beautiful like a rainbow.

The back round of this image looks dark and eerie. Its almost like a drowning feeling has come over you. The water has a reflection of the darkened mountains and the cloudy sky. There's just a slither of light gaping out over the mountains witch means there is a slimmer of hope for a new beginning. This quote to me is telling anyone who reads it is that they have not lived if the have done nothing with there lives. The people who do nothing have sunken to the bottom of this lake and have stayed dormant and motionless, they have not tried to fight to get to the surface. The quote is saying to me what a pity your not even trying to live.

Be mine the sure |
Felicity, which ever shall endure; |
While passion whirls the madmen, as they toy, |
To hate, I would my simple being warm | 5
In the calm pouring sun; and in that pure |
And motionless silence, ever would employ |
My best true powers, without a thought’s annoy. |
See and be glad! Enjoy the simple things in life and appreciate the beauty around you. The poem talks about getting a personal power and strength and from nature when it states to "stand on unshaken base". He talks about the beauty of nature coming from the fact that nature is alive and always changing. Nature is always moving in cycles. Things are born and they die and new things are being born all the time. We are all here and we interact with the people and the nature that is here at the same time that we are. We need to live each day with an awareness and a gratitude.
