Theory is an educated estimate based off of observations or evidence. This is mostly used to justify actions. Actions based of of economics, science, or human interaction are theorized, then eventually turned into experiments. Theory is the first step into creating an idea. The theory I realized was associated with work. Since I have two jobs, I work different days at different places. One of my jobs allows tips, one does not. I've theorized that if i work Saturday and Friday at my job with tips, I will make more money than at the job without tips, even though I make more hourly at the non-tip job. The picture shown is a tip that I received from one of my regular customers!

This essentially is learning "girl" versus "boy". Growing up, humans learn how to socialize with their own gender group versus the others. This topic also shows what is normal for one gender compared to the other. I was taught growing up that only boys could play football, for example, or only girls can be ballerinas. I was taught this because it was the norm and has been engraved into humans by societal bias. I snapped this picture at my local Walmart, showing the difference between "boy" MegaBlocks and"girl" Megablocks.

Social institutions are groups or communities of people coming together because of a certain similarity or goal in mind. In order to understand things, humans have to categorize things into sections, or put people in boxes in order to identify. This is how I view social institutions, people put themselves together in little categories in order to understand and achieve something. An example (though a silly one) is my mom being part of multiple dog groups on Facebook. She uses these groups in order to find tips and tricks on raising our two puppies. (this is also where i got a recipe for pup-cakes!)
