As other colleagues have already said, a lot of teachers are not willing to spend more time to train and learn. But, on the other hand, there are some who are available to participate. That is why I think that we have to begin little by little, involving those teachers who are curious, open-minded and start creating a working team to investigate on the topic.
Of course, headteacher's support and collaboration is crucial: there is no possible experimentation, research or training without him/her guidance.
We don't have to expect great results in short term: schools are bodies that change very slowly, but once the road has been marked, results will gradually be achieved.
The main problem? In Italy headteachers change quite frequently: that's why a good and like-minded working team is essential.

I know many teachers who are eager to improve themselves and be professional, which means they feel rewarded by their teaching effectively. I know many teachers who are not interested in professional development and just repeat what they have always done. The former teachers are really demotivated by the fact that there is not ANY form of reward for them: I am not talking about money, but SUPPORT by headmasters, principals or the ministry. In the second video, Nives Krehu says that teachers were not motivated to participate in the project because there was no practical reward: I agree, it shows what percentage of self motivated teachers there are in our schools. So what should we do to enhance innovation in schools? César Herrero states the key role of the headmaster, who is in charge. The big problem is there, I think: at the moment no posts are present in the padlet for policymakers and only one in that for headmasters. Can't they see their reward?

An experiment like this is very long, complex and time-consuming. I agree with Riccardo Lopes when he says that in Italy 'we could integrate the use of TET-SAT in the school self-evaluation process, with the help of the national agency Indire and the help of regional school offices as institutional parts involved in schools system assessment and improvement with RAV (Self-assessment Report) and PdM (Improvement Plan)'. This would be an excellent policy. Moreover I think that all the teachers involved should have an official certificate with the detail of all the hours spent to participate validated by the Ministry of the Education/National System of Education.

The incentive needed to stimulate teachers to participate in such an experimentation should be multi-faceted. The role of the Animatore digitale in Italy is crucial, he/she should encourage TET-SAT for example and all the others initiatives the Team Dell'Innovazione and The Animatore take part to should be disseminated regularly. ICT is a big problem in some schools like mine because only half the staff feels at ease with them and we should progressively build confidence in it involving colleagues in simple and effective short-term courses. Anyway in Italy too much beaurocratic work in the afternoon creates obstacles to promoting learning and formation and we should not forget that our job at least in Italy is nort paid enough so it is not easy to rely only on the teachrs' good will. MAny of them need rewards which can be support from the headmaster and why not? Money!

Two of the major problems of training are "motivation to form" and "time for training", this being said, I think that activities such as TET should be made mandatory to allow teachers to become aware of their knowledge and skills.
It is also true that the motivation then to continue the path initiated by the results of the TET must come from the individual, from himself; maybe real incentives coming from above could help in any case.

All the ideas, novelties are great..but need much time to be fully realized. Let's consider some critical points of Italian schools: classes are generally overcrowded; the annual plans are rich and complex; the idea of personalysing our teaching to the needs of our student renders all more difficult. Schools projects, training courses, and othe afternoon engagements render everything seriously complicate. of course I think that courses on ICT must be compulsory for all teachers for ICT has become essential in our daily teaching practice.
As regards TET SAT I would propose to make it compulsory , that our Educationa Ministery should promote it in all schools

I think that teachers need to be encouraged, we need technological support, technologies at school must be increased, and we need collaboration with colleagues. In my opinion, if the school encourages and support teachers in this field, we can learn together, and we will be able to provide students a unique and interdisciplinary approach to the various disciplines with the use of the technologies, obviously with the differences and peculiarities that each teacher wants to use.

In Romania, even before its EU accession, attention was paid to introducing ICT in education. I read many comments and ideas. I agree with almost all of them. Foreign language, motivation, awarding, target, team work, management etc...
