Those with private self-awareness are inquisitive and curious about their feelings and reactions. There are two states of self-awareness. The first is self-awareness in public.

The Name of Video:

The skill of self confidence | Dr. Ivan Joseph | TEDxRyersonU

Link of Video: https://youtu.be/w-HYZv6HzAs

The name of Speaker: Dr. Ivan Joseph

Speaker's Experience/qualifications

Dr. Ivan Joseph's lectures draw from his career as an athletic director. Joseph obtained a degree from Graceland in Physical Education and Health before pursuing an MS in Higher Education Administration from Drake University and a Ph.D. from Capella University in Sports psychology.

The video content:

The video content is more about self-confidence. As a coach for the Ryerson soccer team, Joseph considers 'self-confidence' to be the most underappreciated and underrepresented skill among his applicants. Fortunately, because he considers it a talent, he believes it is something that can be learned. He encourages us to replace negative self-talk (that persistent inner voice telling us we "can't") with positive self-affirmations like the mantra. Rather than being egotistical or arrogant, Joseph sees these situations as good reinforcement that confirms who we truly are. Without a question, the most crucial talent we can develop is self-confidence. Let's all start believing in ourselves - don't think of telling ourselves we did amazing in those quiet moments as being selfish. Because when we shed a light on ourselves, we automatically shine a light on others.

Personal Reaction:

- persistent practice makes perfect

- stop negative self-talk

- reinforcing positive behavior through positive feedback

- live strong and don't let other people drag you down

The following list is what I got from the video. Self -confidence is important. I can make this video a pretty good motivation. "Imagine how we could transform the way we parent our children if we caught them while they're still young." This is an excellent phrase from Dr. Ivan. - Perhaps we should do the same for ourselves, particularly if we want to master new abilities that are outside our comfort zone. We will be in the habit of catching ourselves when we look to be "poor" at anything if we have felt this way for much of our life. However, this is just from our restricted vantage point. We need to let go of this preconception and consider the idea that we COULD be excellent at it.

1) Teamwork skills
The ability to work successfully with others in a group is referred to as teamwork abilities. Sharing information, assisting in the resolution of a problem, working toward common goals, and correctly allocating responsibilities among team members are all important aspects of teamwork. Employers respect team players since everyone, regardless of their job title, will be collaborating with others to achieve certain goals or objectives. That is the core essence of a group. As a result, we are all team players, and companies favor individuals who have exhibited superior teamwork abilities.

2) Enthusiasm
I will be more engaged and achieve greater outcomes if I am passionate and excited about my work. My enthusiasm for my work may encourage my coworkers/partner and boost general morale in my anyplace.

3) Creativity
Even though I do not work in a typically creative profession, I believe that creativity in the workplace is crucial. This personal trait demonstrates my eagerness to investigate all options and possibilities in order to find the best answer. I can use creative thinking to come up with fresh answers to challenges, and I can even push our organization to attempt something new.
