Rome took over a large amount of space in the Mediterranean area, from 31 BCE to 476 CE. They did this because they had a lot of powerful armies, everyone was very scared of what they would do to them. They spoke many different languages but a couple of them were French, Latin, Greek, Italian and more. These languages helped them communicate evenly and easier with each other. There weren’t very many different cultural groups, although they did have 2. Which were Judaism and Christianity. People and goods could be transported a couple of different ways, they would have different kinds of sea routes that could travel women, men and goods were they needed to go.

Saul was a very respected good Jew, this meant that he did not believe that Jesus was a rescuer. He never believed in Christianity, he would find any reason to get people thrown in jail or killed if he found out that they did believe in Christianity. Then one night a bright light struck down from the sky, he fell to the ground and then heard a voice say to him, 5 “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked

“I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. 6 “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” (Acts 9:1-19)

. Saul was not sure who was speaking to him. Saul from then started believing in Jesus and became friends with most people, he then went around convincing people to believe in Jesus because of all of the great things he has done for us.

Saint Paul had many different main messages although throughout the messages there were main messages. The main messages in his letters were talking about Jesus’s resurrection and Christ’s death. Also in the letters, there were little messages about having a good value such as justice, joy, and hope.

Paul had a couple of cultural challenges, like not believing in Jesus because he brought up as a strict Jew, he always said he hated the people that did believe in Jesus. Then everyone was confused when he started spreading the word about Jesus and trying to make everyone believe in him. “The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to keep the law of Moses.” (Acts 15:1-31)
