Weakness: Social media is really only Facebook, City pages aren't updated often, no $ for newspaper events or other advertising. No one signs up for REMIND! service

Opportunities: Getting calendars out to school kids, using more social media platforms. Connecting with more people on Facebook. 

Threats: Money, time and I'm the only one at our library who does the marketing, so if I was gone or out sick it wouldn't get done.

Strengths: Strong seasonal outreach program with book bike making weekly appearances at the farmers market and music in the park, user friendly website that's current and full of event information, Facebook.

Weaknesses: I think the library's location might be considered a weakness for some people. It's located downtown where there's not a whole lot of parking and it's not necessarily the safest part of town. 

Opportunities: More community awareness by using posters/flyers and collaborating with the local schools. Again, I don't work there, nor do I have kids so maybe some of this is being done and I'm just not noticing it. Will try to look closer at local event boards!

Threats: I would assume funding is an issue just like any other library.

They have a news letter and a Facebook. They also sent out a summer calendar in our parks and recreation packet we get mailed each year.

Weaknesses: Their Facebook presence is pretty weak and I don't really see any advertisements otherwise like on the radio. They rely mostly on word of mouth and repeat customers.

Opportunities: They have a strong community following and they are a small town library, but they can still improve. They need to start being more aggressive with their advertising. Weaknesses:
No formal marketing plan, time and staff 

Opportunities:
Partnerships with area ogganizations (youth clubs, service clubs), school visits (book talks/program promotions), event posters around town

Threats:
