Arehone demonstrates excellent body awareness and is becoming increasingly confident in identifying and naming parts of her body, such as her head, hair, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, shoulders, arms, hands, fingers, back, stomach, legs, knees, feet and toes. While she can be a little shy at times and may need gentle encouragement, she is steadily gaining confidence in expressing herself and naming these body parts independently. She is also developing her fine motor skills and creativity, beginning to draw recognisable faces with features such as eyes, nose, mouth and ears. She shows good balance, coordination and control during physical activities, enthusiastically moving through space—whether navigating obstacle courses, tiptoeing along a line or jumping over low objects. Her growing confidence in both movement and body awareness is wonderful to see, and she continues to make excellent progress. Well done!

Arehone is developing her fine motor skills very well and shows growing confidence in using her hands during both creative and practical activities. She demonstrates clear right-hand dominance and is becoming increasingly skilled at controlling small movements. She enjoys sensory play, such as rolling, pinching and shaping playdough, and is learning to use scissors accurately with some guidance. She can pick up small objects using a pincer grip and is becoming more confident at threading large beads onto a string. She holds crayons and pencils with the correct tripod grip and is experimenting with drawing lines, circles and simple shapes. She can trace patterns carefully and is beginning to colour and paint neatly within lines. She also enjoys using glue for pasting activities and demonstrates good hand-eye coordination during these tasks. Her steady progress in fine motor skills is wonderful to see—well done!

She particularly enjoys puzzles and takes pride in completing a 12-piece puzzle independently, showing patience and concentration. She can point to familiar objects in pictures, notice similarities and differences, and is beginning to make connections between items. With support, she is beginning to count from 0 to 20 and can identify numbers from 0 to 5, often repeating them confidently when said aloud. She enjoys activities where she can trace numbers and paste the corresponding number of stickers, demonstrating her growing understanding of quantity. She can count objects up to five with some encouragement and is starting to grasp early mathematical concepts such as big and small, and more and less. She is also developing her sorting and classification skills, grouping objects by size, colour or shape, and shows increasing attention to detail during these activities. Her curiosity, participation and enthusiasm for numbers and patterns are wonderful to see.

Arehone is a respectful, soft-spoken and kind girl whose gentle and caring nature shines through in everything she does, especially when she dances and expresses herself through movement. She approaches activities with enthusiasm and curiosity while showing consideration and warmth towards her friends and teachers. Her joyful personality, patience and willingness to try new things make her a delight to teach. I am incredibly proud of all that she has achieved this year, and her presence in the classroom has brought so much happiness.
