To prevent major set malfunctions, we believe cubes will be able to move smoothly on stage and depict the atmosphere of the production in the most effective way. Cubes will also enhance the characterization and acting of the ensemble without distract the audience with an elaborate set. We will also incorporate bean bangs to the classroom set of cubes in order to enhance the child-like atmosphere. Additionally, we plan to have the band on stage at all times contained in play pen, much like something you would seen in RugRats. This will add to our child-like atmosphere Our color scheme is most accurately described as a rainbow. We plan to use a magnitude colors in order to portray different moods within each character. Also, since “Boy Meets Girl: A Young Love Story” has a child-like atmosphere, the broad color scheme will be able to portray this accurately.
