Alexander Graham Bell, born March 3, 1847 in Edinburgh, Scotland. Bell was an inventor having patented the first telephone. He became an educator for the deaf in 1871, when he was accept to a school in Massachusetts. On January 15, 1915, Bell had completed the first transcontinental telephone, calling friend Watson from New York while he was in San Francisco. He later died at the age of 75 of dieabiates.
