Rama is a "Perfect Man" because he has a lot of good qualities and characteristics. He has a lot of good moments too like how he obediently listened to his father even though, he would be banished for 14 years in the forest. He also told his brother Bharata to lead the kingdom even though he wanted to rule and his brother convinced him to stay. Lastly, he is a perfect man because he prioritized his kingdom over his own happiness like how he banished his wife Sita which he loved dearly just because the people don't trust her.

In our lives, there’s a part that we need to sacrifice one thing in order for us to do our responsibility. It’s quite sad because rama and sita’s love story was destroyed because of the people who questioned about the purity of Sita. It is just like, they are in the right person but not in the right time. I also discovered that we all have a happy endings. Despite the fact that Sita has vanished, she is still happy to see her sons and husband who have been reunited. However, Rama is willing to die in order to be with Sita. If they couldn't be together in this world, they can be together in heaven, proving that love can really find ways even though the destiny would against it.

To name a few, he was very obedient to his father when he was told to be exiled in the forest instead of getting the throne. Even though Bharata begged him to come back to their kingdom, he didn’t do it because he doesn’t want to disobey his father’s orders. To add to that, he was also very faithful, not just to his wife, but also to his people. Alongside with that, he was also selfless because despite his love for Sita, he chose to be seperated from her just for the sake of his kingdom and his people. Lastly, he is strong and wise in facing difficulties especially when it involves the people that he loves and cares about.

In my own perspective, Lakshman showed more faithfulness and loyalty to Rama because even though I believe that showing your loyalty and faithfulness to someone can be showed through different ways, I have realized that one of the reasons why Bharata begged Rama to go back to the kingdom is because of the Dharma. Yes, he believed in Rama’s capabilities but we can never hide the fact that a part of him wanted Rama to be the king because he believed that it was Rama’s dharma to be the next king of Ayodhya. On the other hand, Lakshman’s way of showing his faithfulness and loyalty was through staying by Rama’s side ever since he was banished. He didn’t left him even if the life in the forest is different from the life in the kingdom. To add to that, he suffered together with Rama and Sita because he was the one who’s with them from the very start.

As to what I have observed, the major Hindu traditions that were portrayed in the story are the Dharma and Moksha. On top of the list, dharma was really pin-pointed in the story. An instance is when Rama was told to be banished in the forest by his father instead of being the King. Since he is a son, it was his dharma to obey his father, and so he did. Another is when Sita accompanied Rama in the forest when he was exiled because she wanted to obey and follow the dharma that as his wife, she shall never leave his side unless she is told to do so. Lastly, I have also witnessed the moksha tradition in the story. A very known instance is when Rama’s father was stepping out of the throne because he was already getting old and it was a tradition for the Hindu people to withdraw themselves from everyone in the society when you have already finished doing your work or mission.

In my point of view, the major differences between men and women I have seen from the epic is that most people already have a general point of view of how they see both female and male. Males are seen as superior, heroic, brave and are the ones whom support their family while females are sometimes misunderstood just because of their man's status, but not all think negatively about women. Also, women are expected to be the one in charge of things at their household.

Despite my love for her, I can never deny the fact that it is my responsibility as the King to give my people their wants and needs especially when it involves the reputation of my kingdom. You might think that it will greatly hurt Sita, but it will also be hard for me. Yes, it will be hard for the both of us to get seperated from each other, but we should think about the state of the kingdom. If Sita loves me as much as I love her, I think she would understand my decision as well.

I feel like both of them showed their faithfulness and loyalty to Rama. But I think Lakshman is more loyal to Rama. For instance, Lakshman accompanied his brother Rama, to the forest with his sister-in-law being the whole third wheel in the group just to be with them. He could've done something else like helping the kingdom in his whole 14 years in the forest but he decided to stay with Rama and Sita and enjoy his life with them in the forest. Although he may have been more loyal, Bharata has also showed his trust and loyalty to Rama. While Bharata on the other hand, even though he could've gotten the whole kingdom to himself, he did not agree and ended up finding Rama. He insisted his brother to go back because it is not his place to rule. Although Rama said he should follow their father's orders, Bharata obliged but he took Rama's sandals as a reminder who the true ruler is. He took the role as a substitute Ruler because its his Dharma.

Yes, he had a choice during those times wherein his people doubted my purity, and he chose them over me, but I will still understand his decision because I know that it was also hard for him since he has a huge commitment to the kingdom and his people. Another is that I would like to let my children experience a complete family. After 15 years of being apart from each other, I know that my children has been longing to have a family that is complete. Lastly, I will give Rama a second chance because I believe that the stars had really made their ways to make our paths cross once again. Though we have been apart for almost half of the years that we’ve been together, in those years when we were together, our love for each other was tested through the struggles that we have successfully faced. There were a lot of hindrances during those times, and I think that now would be the right time to be with the person that I truly love the most. After all those things that we’ve experienced, I think it’s not bad to choose our happiness this time. After all, we all deserve to be happy.

Men initiate the proposal while women wait and hope they marry the men she loves. Also, when Rama and Lakshmi came home, the people welcome Rama with open arms while they despised Lakshmi. They questioned her purity and when it came that she's still pure, they didn't buy it and said that there must be something wrong or she cheated in some way. It may have been because Rama is perfect that's why everyone likes him, but its still sad that she got treated badly.

He was faithful since he waited for her regardless of the reality that she was with some other man. Finally, he was a strong, loyal, loving, and devoted husband to his wife.

I would be lying if I said that I didn‘t learn anything from this epic because as a matter of fact, I have really learned a lot of valuable lessons from it. I think I have learned a lot from it mainly because I witnessed not just Rama’s and Sita’s love for each other, but also each of the character’s experiences. First and foremost, I have realized that being faithful is really important. Not just to your partner, but to the people that surround you as well. Fidelity plays a huge part in making healthy relationships with other people. Lastly, one of the valuable lessons that I’ve learned is that we should be strong not just physically, but also mentally and emotionally, in facing difficulties. We shouldn’t be afraid because no matter how much we deny it, we, ourselves, are the only one who knows the best of our capabilities as people. Because of the help that Rama got, as well as his bravery and intelligence, he was able to survive those difficulties that he faced.

Even though Rama is labelled as the “Perfect Man”, I honestly don’t want to be just like him if ever I was given a chance. From the story, I have witnessed how hard it is to be perfect and it made me think that maybe that’s why there isn’t a perfect person in reality because it will be very hard for them. If you think of it, being perfect isn’t always good. Literally speaking, as someone whose mental and emotional condition isn’t in the most stable state, I think I will not be able to cope with the problems and pressure that I will be facing just like Rama. Another reason of mine is that if I would be like Rama, high expectations from other people will always be part of the picture, and I honestly don’t like dealing with those expectations that other people has for me. Lastly, even though Rama is known as the “Perfect Man”, his life was actually not as perfect as he is. In fact, his life was somewhat heart-breaking to say the least. He had a lot of problems and I think that my struggles and problems are nothing compared to what he has experienced.

He's a perfect man, in real-life you can't find someone like that its too unrealistic. Everyone has their own flaws and its just so much pressure to be perfect. Rama also has a reputation and responsibility to uphold and its not really my thing. He has citizens to please and a wife and children to abandon which is just heartbreaking to me. I don't know how he manages it (probably because he's perfect though) but I can't do that. He also faced a lot of bad things in his life like getting his wife abducted, being banished, striped off his title as king and many more which are things I don't want to face.

From what I have observed, there is a major difference between the treatment to men and women. In the epic, Rama was highly respected not just because he was a prince and a soon-to-be King, but also because he was a man. He was somewhat seen as someone superior because he was strong and wise as a man. While on the other hand, the people really doubted Sita. Just because she was captured by Ravana, they didn’t belived that she was pure even though there was a proof that she was not. By still doubting her despite the truth was already served right in front of their eyes, it just shows how lowly they think of Sita as a woman.

There were countable scenes that reflected the Hindu's Dharma belief. One situation was when Rama was sent to the forest by his father instead of making him as the next king. Even though it was unfair, he still obeyed and did exactly what his father had told him to do as it was his dharma, or obligation as a son to follow the commands of his own father. If you can't do it all alone, then reach out to your love ones and ask for help. I also realized that in life, you need to make sacrifices not just for yourself but also for the people around you especially if you're a person of high rank. Not only that, I have also learned that in life, there's not always a happy ending. Even if you love each other so much. Because there will always be a problem that don't have any solutions.

Between the two brothers of Rama, the one who showed loyalty and faithfulness to him are the both of them because like to what Lakshman did, even though he was not involved with Rama's banishment, he chose to stick with him and his brother's wife and did not argue one bit being the third wheel of the two. The same goes with Bharata, knowing that he has the opportunity to become the king because of his own mother's action, he chose not to betray Rama and begged him to return. So I would say the loyalty and the faithfulness to the two are equal.

He's rich which I and everyone wants to be since we can have and buy material things.
