The students also complied with the expected behavior and the did not stage any misconduct. Again, I let them do their homework as is usually the norm throughout the course of the particular class.

In teaching class 3S, I undertook a listening practice with ten conversation exercises. I was really impressed with the level of engagement and interest they had on the listening activity I had prepared for them. They wanted to watch the audio which made feel happy for their desire to learn English language.

I attended two classes today: I entered one period of relief class for both 2M and my teaching class, 3K. For the relief class, which I entered at 8:10 am , I let the students engage in homework and they were good till the lesson ended.

In my teaching class, I set four reading exercises intended to emulate the structure of the Ujian Akhir Sesi Akademik (UASA) to prepare them for the exam. I really enjoyed their energy as each one correctly and as timely as possible filled up the worksheets.

In the course of the day today, I entered three classes, two of them which are my teaching periods and one that was a relief period for thirty minutes periods. For Class 3K, I introduced them to the literature poem Poisoned Talk. They said that they have learned the poem earlier when they where with the previous practicum teacher. I have chosen four students randomly to read the poem in the classroom. Later on, I gave them a worksheet based on the poem, but majority of them did not attempt on most of the questions stating that it was too hard for them. Fortunately, I had developed several worksheets beforehand so I changed today’s lesson into a listening skill immediately. I read the answers aloud while they were completing it on the worksheets. They were very polite and appeared to listen to all that has has been said and done.

For Class 3S, I gave them a mixed verb tenses worksheet that was meant for CEFR Level B2 learners. Most participants said they could successfully finish the task.

For the relief class, I supervised Class 1K at 11:40 a.m. for two periods. As usual, I asked them to do their homework.

This morning I attended three lessons two of them in my teaching specialization while the third one was a relief lesson. At 7:30 a.m., I began with my 3S class with the aim of teaching the poem Poisoned Talk. However, since they had already covered it, I changed the lesson, just as I had done with class 3K the previous day, and made it a listening comprehension for the first worksheet. In the second worksheet, they practiced it independently but labeled their answers in accordance with first participation practice. As the lesson proceeded , 15 minutes before the last bell I engaged them in a fun class activity which was a word search puzzle. I could only afford 6 prizes for six students.

At 10:10 a.m., I oversaw a relief class for 5K2, where they were for their Pendidikan Moral Percubaan SPM examination. Fortunately, my invigilation duty only took me 30 minutes and since it was the second time to invigilate an exam session, it was easy.

Students in 3K class is always engage in the class. This is always heartwarming and they look forward to learning every time I get into the class. For this half an hour, I gave them a mixed verb tenses worksheet to do. I circulated round the class to assess their work correcting those mistakes which I saw were grammatical. We allowed twenty minutes for students to confirm their answers on the worksheet then discussed the worksheet in whole group rotation, asking students to read what they wrote. In the remaining three hours spent in the staff room, I developed lesson plans and teaching aids for the Week 6.

I was assigned to two relief classes: 1L and 2O. I began with 1L at 8:40 am for a single period. Although this was the worst rated class they were very disciplined and did their home work without any form of disturbance.

At 9:15 am, I entered class 2O for another period. At first some students where mischievous by standing close to the class door way. I quickly corrected them, ordering them back to their seats and telling them to return to do their homework.
