A new program has been developed to deal with grief where actors go and play the dead. The main character, Quinn, is a "closer" and acts as dead person to help others find closure. It seems interesting, but at times, it can be a little weird and confusing. It is very fast paced, and confusing at times, but it's a nice read. The foster mom, Charlie, is soon getting married, but her old high school sweet hear, Wes, a now boyband pop star, returns to see her. But, she's getting married, and he wants to stop them. This is a new author, and I guess I should be kind in my review, but it is a very big cliche. It's a repeated idea, and lacks originality. But when the boy and girl run away from their homes, things get dangerous. It is very cliche, but the author is really creative with the diagrams and pictures she adds. Tui Sutherland combines action and mystery in a fictional adventure set in a post-apocalyptic world. This book is a good read for those who enjoy novels in the fantasy genre.]]> 2016-12-02 18:16:50 UTC https://padlet.com/des257/tjpmh6lunxmm/wish/141466334 https://padlet.com/des257/tjpmh6lunxmm/wish/141466342 The Woman in Cabin 10 is about a young journalist named Lo.  Shortly before Lo is supposed to go on a cruise for a travel magazine she is robbed in her flat.  Lo is robbed of almost all her important belongings including her wallet and phone.  The robbery shakes Lo up so much that she can barely sleep.  Days before her cruise, Lo is running on no sleep.  Lo really wants to do well on her journal assignment on the cruise because it could open up new job opportunities for her.  However, with her lack of sleep it will be hard to focus.  This book is good so far, but since I've just started reading it I can't give it a fair rating.

This is until an incident occurs with their dad. He is an archaeologist who focuses on egyprian history. Howeve, the kids soon find out theres more than just history to his Egyptian studies. It's interesting and funny, altogether a solid book.

I've only recently started the book so I not know much about the plot, but the story follows the life of Jake Barnes. He works as an editor for the newspaper. This book is very well-written. It's very good, but a bit heart-wrenching at times. Professor Langdon finds himself in a sticky situation when he wakes up with amnesia in a hospital in Florence. To add to that he's been left with a mysterious vial and is being hunted by an assassin. Langdon leaves the hospital and hides out in the apartment of the nurse that was attending to him for his safety. Both the nurse and Langdon then try to understand the importance of what they find in the vial so they can figure out the reason for what is going on. My book is Slam, a book about a young man named Greg Harris who is a basketball player. He had to change schools to one that is bad at basketball, but better academically. His principal just told him he has to get his grades up before he can play on the baskeball team, so he is nervous about his grades. The novel has sucked me in and I'm eagerly anticipating what will happen to Greg.

With a man jumping off the edge of the boat within the first ten pages, I am sure there will be more dramatic events in the future. In the first chapter, there is a flashback of a conversation between the main character, Shy, and his grandmother about shark attacks and how they are sure one will happen on the cruise ship.
