They had conversations about school policies and procedures (mostly revolving around ipads) So this was a good start, they stayed on the same page  and looked to coordinate advisory periods well, but there wasn't a lot of time spent on outlining goals and involving families or other support staff in these meetings. 
At southwest high school, the 9th graders were on a team. I'm not sure how often they met officially for a team since I was in tenth grade, but they seemed to be on the same page in coordinating assignments and keeping students in mind. 
Another organizational structure was simply content collaboration.
