The Boston Tea Party was when American colonists protested against British taxes on tea by dumping it into Boston Harbor. They were upset because they had no say in the taxes and felt the British government was treating them unfairly. Disguised as Native Americans, they boarded the ships and threw the tea overboard. This event made tensions between the colonies and Britain worse and eventually led to the American Revolution.

How I Felt (as Samuel, a colonist):

I felt nervous but also proud. I’m just a regular colonist, but I wanted to stand up for what’s fair. Dumping the tea was risky, but it showed that we wouldn’t accept unfair taxes. Even if I got caught, I knew it was important to fight for our rights.
