         <description><![CDATA[<div>Propaganda was used in Greece in the early 1440s. They would use propaganda for beliefs or ideas using different things like theater, games, different laws, and festivals. In English it was used against Kings and Queens. In 1588 Queen Elizabeth and Philip the 2 from spain used propaganda during the spanish armada, at this time it was more like modern propaganda but most of it was handwritten. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Atrocity Propaganda During WW1</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Atrocity propaganda was used to show German and Austria-Hungary's violent acts and it was shown almost everywhere. The two countries could not defend themselves because it was true most of the stories written in newspaper or shown were witnessed by a lot of people.<br><br><br><br>This is a picture of a German soldier and you can tell by the point on his hat, and he is killing innocent people.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Women were seen at home so in propaganda they were used to get men to join the military, and could be shown as innocent people attacked by the enemy, and how they could help during war. The women and homes were used to show safety of coming home after the war was won. Some countries used women as symbols like Marianna, "the spirit of Australia", Mother Russia, "Liberty" <br><br><br>In this photo it is showing a woman as an angel making her seem safe. She is also tending to a soldier showing that women could help by becoming a nurse</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Enemy brutality was mostly shown with children in the picture to show how bad the enemy was. Children were also shown through making their dad seem a hero if he went to war and seen as shameful he he didn't. Children stories were also used to show the what was expected by men and women during the war.<br><br><br>This picture shows a child eating food but is saying save wheat and food for the soldiers because it was hard for soldiers during the war to get food.</div>]]></description>
