Impact of IT on business
IT helps to save time since the users can carry their work anywhere. they do this by just carrying their mobile devices. they can also work while travelling. You can advertise your ideas to a broader audience a lot quicker than handing out posters / giving leaflets in stores. This also means it is cheaper as you do not need to spend money on storage for these advertising techniques or the printing and paper itself. You are able to work with anyone around the world meaning you aren't only employing people in your area, instead able to employ the best from around the world. Having IT allows a business to have a much larger storage for all of their information where previously they would have filing cabinets full of paper.

The steep increase of technological advancement has reduced the amount of diversity in business and employment. Jobs taken by the rise of IT have for the most part been labour based, low income or working class" jobs such as delivery driving, construction work, cab driving and cleaning work. Jobs of a higher income or of a more skilled nature are harder to replace with IT but have more inclusion of such. Technology takes low income jobs but aids and enriches high income jobs. One could argue that this effect has created a higher requirement for further education and for a larger percentage of the population to have advanced skill sets. Due to this decline in laborious work there is less diversity in business and those that are less academically inclined or whose skills are more practical will now struggle to find an industry.
