Moreover, successful people have achieved their dreams, so they definitely are happy. However, Mona disagrees this statement. She thinks that successful people are not always happy.

Tourism explosion has benefited the locals. Many local business grow rapidly around the tourism destination. As a result, the number or unemployment has reduced significantly and the standard living has improved in several years. In addition, the money that the government get from the tourist is used to restore the old building. On the other hand, the rapid growth of restaurants, bars, hotels, and souvenir shops has caused crowd and hide the historical/old buildings around there. Bad-behaved tourists also one of the problems caused by it. Finally, the infrastructure such as public transportation needs to be improved.

Chelsea thinks that music is the most interesting art for her, because the lyricist ( the person who write lyrics ) can pour his / her heart into a beautiful lyric or writing with a deep meaning. Then, they can make their writing to become a music with beautiful melody, etc. For the artist who sing the song, he / she can makes us feel emotional just by listening to their voice and music. However, Weiny have a different opinion. She thinks that painting is the most interesting art, because we can pour our imagination into something visual, something that everyone can see. As what we know, we can’t see people’s imagination. Each people have a different imagination and ideas, and some people want to show the others about their imagination. By painting, we express our imagination, ideas and creativity. After the painting is done, we can show other people the imagination that we have in our minds.

This makes role models very important. Felix also thinks that role models are important and by looking up to others that do good for others, it will set up a good example for the child and therefore in our opinions and for our conclusion we think that role models play an important part inside the mind of a child.

Sera thinks that public transportation are better because they’re easy to find and use. Like, if you don’t have any private transportation, you can use public transportation instead with a cheap price and less tax. You can even make a new friend, for example at a bus you can chat with the person beside you while waiting for the bus to arrive at your stop. Because sometimes using private transportation could be boring when there’s no one to talk to. And sometimes when you drive, you can’t play your phone because it’s too dangerous. Meanwhile in public transportation, you can relax a bit and play your phone without worrying about driving. However Stella disagrees with Sera’s opinion. Stella thinks that private transportation is safer because we already know the driver or even our own family, so it makes it easier for us to interact, because by using private transportation we can have fun with our family and if we use public transportation it will be difficult to communicate with others, such as travel long trip we can have fun using private transportation and can stop somewhere to rest such as to the toilet or to the shop for shopping, if on public transportation it will be difficult to stop to the toilet or shopping and it will disturb other passengers, and if using transportation Generally we can fall asleep and pass our destination, while using private transportation we can sleep at any time without passing our destination.

Emma thinks most of Indonesian peoples are prefer watching a movies rather than reading a book for an entertainment purposes.
movies are required a shorter span of time. I could say movies are less time consuming rather than reading a book, because sometimes we're really busy and we can only read a book when we have a free time. Second, there’s a visualization in the movie. So we don’t need to imagine, just like what we usually do while reading a book. It’s on the screen, you can easily enjoyed the story line by just watching it. And the sound effect or music give it a plus point.

Sisy was agree with emma's opinion , but also disagree with the opinion. From the percentage that i read from internet 90 % of people prefer to watch movie and 10 % prefer to read in indonesia. There are many factors that cause reading to be less attractive, one of them is the advancement of technology that makes people more lazy to read. I will talk about the 10 % that prefer to read more than watching movies. By reading a book they can discover new things , build positive things , skills in socializing , ect . One of the successful person who love to read is bill gates his tenet is to always spend at least 1 hour reading and taking notes of important passages . He said people who like read a book will be more focus, and have a good memory. So the conclusion is that many people prefer to watch movies , but it would be nice if we are balanced among read and watch movies.
thank you for reading our opinions!!

"how can the type of school you go to affect career success?"
From our discussion we met disagreement yet similarity in our opinions. Michael thinks that school does affect one's career, especially their major. Do they love what they are learning, Is it what they want to do, and the list goes on. When one favors something and its related to their future career, then it would generate profitable and satisfactory result with no time loss in its journey. Nowadays most of the interviewers, even though both of us have never been interviewed, will look up to and usually focus on which school we graduate from. Is it a reputable university or just some regular common university. When one came from a distinguished university, it would be a 'plus point', and usually some famous universities have greater possibility of being accepted when applying for a job. Meanwhile in Veshelie's opinion, it's more towards to when one is at work already. From which school, which university they graduate from, it doesn't really matter. What matters is how one socialize, how one's performance at work, how they express, how they are dealing with the task, how they adapt to work life, do they have a sense of responsibility, and etcetera. Your grades, your alma mater, do affect your opportunity but it won't promote you to any higher place later on. It's you yourself that would make any changes to the better and new success to have. In conclusion, both of us don't have the same point of view in this subject, but we do relate with each other's opinion and share the same thoughts about certain things here and there. Thank you!

Do you think all successful people are happy?

In Andrew's opinion, all successful person are happy because successful person is not judged from his/her wealth meaning seen from the way he/she treats his family, etc. Overall, if being rich is correlated with being happier, rich people live a happy life. It does depend on the definition of ”rich” and on who is determining what is a “happy life”. But Edbert's opinion is different from Andrew's opinion. Edbert argued that not all successful people are happy. There are some successful people who are happy but there are also successful people who are not happy, because it depends on the successful person that they are able or unable to share the time when to be serious and when to have fun. Even though successful people were able to share the time when to be serious and when to have fun, successful people still cannot always be happy. Nobody in the world will stay happy always or be sad always, because in the future, there will be many problems and obstacles that will complicate people's lives.

🐳🐳 Do you think all succesful people are happy?
After we discuss, we both think that not all successful people are happy. Because happiness can't be determined by success. Happiness itself is not about what happened to us, happiness is about how we perceive what happens to us, happiness is how we find something positive in negativity. Many successful people are unhappy, on the other hand, many ordinary people are happy. Many succesfull people are too busy so they don't have any time for their family , many of them also suffer health and phsycological problems. There are also many successful people who don't have time to hang out and have fun with their friends. They are to busy achieving satisfaction , so they inevitably have to leave their hobby. " Happiness is not getting all you want, it is about enjoying all you have ". Succesfull people often want more. If we take a look, many ordinary people are happy, it is because they face their problems happily and they are grateful for the situation in their life. Actually, life is about learning to dance in the rain, it means that we have to learn to find happiness in things and problems we face in life. People say " Happiness is enjoying the little things in life ", we are totally agree with this. There are many little things in life that we can be grateful for, like we are still breathing until now. Someone's happiness couldn't be count and measured by numbers, so each person has their own standard of happiness. For example, kids will be happy when we give them candy, but for successful people, even when they can live properly, if they are not satisfied, they won't be happy. However, there are also many successful people who are happy, because we think that happiness is determined by ourselves. Thankyou for reading our opinion ! 🐳🐳🐳

But if you relate to the current situation, with this pandemic, reading books is very important in order to increase knowledge and stimulate our mind. So in conclusion more people like watching movies than reading books. but it's better for us to balance between reading books and watching movies

“What types of sport do you think are better? Team sports or individual sports?"

In momo’s opinion, individual sports are better than team sports. Individual sports also allow for independence and can be a great fit for a kid who doesn't like to rely on someone else's skills to perform well. Some individual sports allow flexibility with training times and regimens. Athletes can focus on their own training needs, whether that means addressing a personal weakness or improving something that can be difficult to improve during team training. Also, If an individual athlete wins a competition, then only he or she will be in the spotlight and that will be something to be proud of for some athletes.

In my opinion, it depends on the athlete. Some athletes don't like to work together as a team. And some don’t like working alone. But to be honest, I would rather work as a team instead of work alone. Athletes who play team sports show increased cooperation and teamwork and foster a sense of community. There's also a sense of shared responsibility for the outcome, which means that having a bad day isn't the end of the world. Teammates learn to support each other through good games and bad, something that might be most important during a losing streak. Research shows that athletes have improved performance in a group, so playing team sports can encourage a child to give his or her best effort for their teammates.

In my opinion, countries have national holidays to commemorate days that are important for the country. Like Hari Kemerdekaan and Hari Kartini. National holidays usually means it's a really important day for the country. Maybe something that helped the country develop and deserves to be remembered. National holidays make people happy since you usually don't go to work/school and makes you appreciate the day and remember it and correlate it to something positive. Keep in mind, this is my opinion. Other peoplemight have different opinions on why national holidays exist.

“Do you think the transportation system in your country will improve in the future?”

In our opinion, transportation system in Indonesia will definitely improve in the future. Although, transportation system nowadays in our country are still facing many problems. One of the biggest problem we all know is traffic. We could literally find traffic everywhere we go, especially in Jakarta, which is the capital city of Indonesia. So you must be wondering, how could the transportation system in Indonesia will improve if we are still facing problems like traffic? Actually, Indonesia's traffic congestion is caused by a growth in the number of vehicles, which has outpaced the development of roads. And so, the government has provided us public transports as a solution to reduce traffic. But sadly, most people say that they prefer to use their private vehicles instead of public transportation because of its bad quality. The government will have to improve the quality of the public transports first in order for people to want to use the public transports. But besides that, we strongly believe that the transportation system in Indonesia will continue to improve in the future. Thanks to advances in technology, we are able to create bigger, faster, and more efficient types of vehicles.

Why do people watch television serials? (felix nathanael sudarma 11mipa 1)

TV in demand, suggests that the live television experience “satisfies human emotional needs that on demand viewing alone can’t”.

The study was based on an analysis of 100 hours of footage from 18 households and a diary study of 662 adults.

The researchers found six main reasons that people watch television: to unwind, for comfort, to connect, for an experience, to escape, or to indulge.

While there is much to be said for trying to understand why people watch television, rather than simply measuring how much they watch, reducing it to these six reasons seems rather simplistic.

It is interesting that the psychology of why people watch television, which is largely about their social and emotional needs, is far from aligned from the public service mission of broadcasters to inform, educate and entertain, as embodied in the values of the BBC.

While for many the primary purpose of television is to entertain, it might disappoint some programme makers that there is so little emphasis on information or education.

Yet in a typical week, around a fifth of the top hundred rating shows in Britain are news bulletins. That alone should suggest that people are interested in finding out what is happening in their world. That might be explained by a need for a sense of connection, but it might also suggest curiosity or a need for novelty.

In fact, news, sport, weather and some entertainment shows represent the majority of television that is genuinely ‘live’, while other genres such as drama and documentary are invariably recorded and arguably better viewed on demand when most convenient.

The researchers suggest that video on demand excels at satisfying personal approaches to television, specifically indulging and escaping, but is less equipped for more social needs such as unwinding and seeking comfort, a conclusion that appears arguable at best.

The study supports its finding by the observation that on 54% of occasions people were watching live television they were with someone else compared to 30% for video on demand.

One reason for that, which the research does not address, is that watching television is often not so much a shared experience as a negotiated experience.

When viewing with someone else, the question of ‘What is on television?’ is really ‘What shall we watch?’ which really means ‘What can we agree to watch?’ where the answer is dependent on the social dynamics of those involved.

When viewing alone, there is no need to negotiate, so there is more opportunity to catch-up, discover, browse or indulge, and the choice is likely to be more personal and more deliberate.

“Live TV is best equipped to meet all of the needs and that is why it will endure, no matter what new platforms emerge,” argues Neil Mortensen, the research and planning director of Thinkbox. “Live TV is our daily food whereas VOD is more like a box of chocolates.”

Yet if research commissioned from YouGov by YouView is to believed, a fifth of all television viewing is now to catch-up or on-demand services.

The YouGov survey questioned a nationally representative sample of over 2,000 adults from across the United Kingdom in May 2013 and found that they claimed to watch 16 hours of live television a week, 9 hours recorded and 6 hours catch-up in a typical week.

If that is anything like accurate it suggests that 19% of all viewing is to catch-up services while 48% of all viewing is viewed on demand.

Checking with BARB, the official source of television viewing figures in the United Kingdom, it seems that only 15.5% of all viewing in the year to the end of March 2013 was timeshifted, while at most a further 1-2% was viewed online.

BARB is working to incorporate more catch-up viewing in its measurements, but the discrepancy is significant. Nevertheless, the YouView finding that a fifth of all television viewing in the county is now to catch-up services was generally reported without critical comment.

The YouView survey was based on an online survey of self-reported viewing by 2,000 adults. YouGov claims that this was a nationally representative sample with a plus or minus 2% margin of error.

However, online surveys may not necessarily represent the viewing of the general population and self-reported responses invariably differ from actual observed behaviour.

For one thing, people may be more likely to recall viewing experiences that involve more personal and active decisions, such as time-shift or catch-up viewing.

In any case, the claimed average of 31 hours a week of television viewing is considerably more than the 25.75 hours of average weekly viewing that BARB measured in May.

All of which makes the claim that a fifth of viewing is on demand seem as incredible as the idea that live television will continue to dominate to the extent that it does today.

One thing is clear, there is a real need for more research into why people watch television and particular types of programmes, as well as measuring what they watch, when and where, if we are to understand how they can best be served in the future.

In our opinion,
People usually watch it for entertainment. Many of the top rated TV series have a nice story,a good cast, great camera work, and nice acting.

Me and cleo used to watch lot of TV series and spend most of our free time in front of the screen. We watched so many different genres, some of them are good, but some of them are bad. When we watch a TV series, we might think that its a bad one,but other people might think its a good one, It depends on the person.

after watching many TV series , we began to appreciate TV series. Those series are top for a reason, they engage the viewers, having good themes, dialogues and great cinematography. We can't move on and think about what happened in an episode for days after watching it.

These are our reasons for watching TV series. They make the viewers feel something, regardless if it is joy, sadness or excitement. Popular TV shows are conversational starters as well and people can spend hours discussing a particular series.

Why do we need to study ? Christina & Bagus XI MIPA 2

christina’s opinion because it is human nature to want to know things and studying. we should need to study because that is how we can become most productive. It is true that people without education can be economically active (contribute financially towards society) without having studied by having a primary or secondary sector job such as farming or assmebling products because these jobs can require very little skill.
Studying also means that people are using their brains and thinking so they are more likely to come up with ideas and make discoveries that will cause the human kind to progress and further evolve to have an easier, happier, longer lifestyle which is what every single person should want for themselves and their future family and if they don’t they probably have mental issues.

Bagus’s Opinion is because if we don't learn, our knowledge will be less and we will be less useful for others. not only that, if we don't study, it will be difficult to find work if we are older, therefore we must be smart, because basically students are activities that someone does to find new things.
