Motivate sts learning , make them passionate in learning with ICT lessons to arouse their interest through di approach, and loose structure, allow them to make decisions on their own, take ownership of learning
To give them platform to explore and understand their interest
e.g. MODULAR CCA more exposure to different type of interest. Ecube make sts more exposure to get to know their interest. Cove is a great platform for sts to explore more beyond the textbook/classroom

To foster interest and abilities of students, it is important to built TSR. Then teachers get to know the kids better and find out their interests and passion better.

In this way, students can find meaning in learning and enhance their potential.

It improves self- esteem as they become an integral member of the team.

Use DI pedagogy to engage students and stretch them.

1) listening to students' voice, provide opportunities for students to lead their peers

2) give them opportunities to try out different roles in class committee, student initiated projects, cca leaders, every student has a role in their group

3) class monitor training, ict training, teach leadership dispositions skills eg establishing trust, rapport and active listening, peer support, buddies for new students

Providing opportunities to develop the leadership skills such as communicaton, to explore themselves and interests
Different platforms within the school to develop student leadership: class committee, CCA leaders, student prefects, peer support leaders
Within the classroom, there are opportunities to cultivate "informal" student leadership such as: 1) Group leaders for group work 2) Leaders of VIA projects 3) Student suggestions 4) participation/ contribution in school events

The purpose of empowering students with leadership is to help students manage themselves and eventually lead others. They be able take initiate to be of service to others. They will for accountable for themselves and others.
