         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.&nbsp; &nbsp; Rationale&nbsp;</div><div>While at the playground, the children were playing and then they saw a big iguana at the opposite side of the road, therefore they were interested to learn about iguanas. Therefore, teacher will read a storybook, ‘I wanna Iguana’ to the children.&nbsp;</div><div>Level of students in the classroom: Nursery&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>2.&nbsp; &nbsp; Objectives&nbsp;</div><div>·&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Children must be able to read the words in the book from left to right by pointing to the words in the storybook from left to right.&nbsp;</div><div>·&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Children must be able to demonstrate print awareness by identifying that letter I is for iguana. For example, when teacher ask the child, what does Iguana starts with? They must respond by saying and pointing to the letter I in the spelling iguana.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>3.&nbsp; &nbsp; Concept: Reading the book correctly from left to right. They must be aware of the correct ways to handle a story book. They must also display print awareness by identifying the alphabets in the spelling Iguana.&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>
