Cash is Green

I think that this film is trying to tell us something about the ethical means in which you can earn money. The idea that "cash is green" makes me think that Cassius sees money as money, no matter the methods in which he obtains them. This is pretty clear when he begins selling slave labor so comfortably, because cash is cash.

I believe this references a Pepsi ad that Kendall Jenner did shortly before this film was made. In the ad, protesters and police are fighting, and then Kendall Jenner walks to the front of the line, hands a policeman a Pepsi, and the conflict is apparently solved. This ad received a lot of (incredibly warranted) backlash, as it seemed to undermine what protests are really like.
