I saw this in the Art Institute of Chicago and really connected with it - it is really large (over 24 ft wide) and placed above a marble staircase so you walk down, almost into the painting. It is so ethereal and captures a sense of peacefulness, calm, and awe.

I love this painting mostly because the musical based on it is also one of my favorites. But also I saw it in person (in Chicago) when I was a kid and was very impressed by its size and how it was all made of just tiny dots of color.
