Week one and two were definitely a challenge. I am now settling in and I have just created my Padlet. It is such a beautiful application to express myself. I love it!!

I have gone through my course material and course guide and I must express my gratitude to the Course Coordinator for checking in daily and posting little words of encouragement. 

I have browsed through the units and I like what I am seeing so far. With the wealth of information that I have in my possession, although it will be hard to catch up with work and all my courses, I will try.

I have learned that checking into the Learning Exchange and reading the Class Announcements and Student Tutor Exchange is really important. There I will be able to keep abreast with all the activities with this course. 

From my observations, this course and its outlines are different from other courses because of its colours, pictures and the amount of activity required for posting. I believe that being more active with a course will allow the mind to be more open to absorb materials and information.

The BBC held by the course coordinator was of great help and her recommendation to read through unit 10 thoroughly has taught me that that to clearly outline and present a research, results and conclusion that is legible to the reader. 

Finally, I have learned that as long as I follow the course guidelines, I am positive that I will be successful in this course.

This week I read the course material The Nature and Scope of Survey Research where I came across the components of the Survey Research. I also completed my discussion on time and replied to two (2) of my colleagues.

I was really struggling with my Oral Presentation and my survey choice was such a large survey.
 I learnt how to use and upload the screen-casto-matic. I realized that it is a really simple application to present in any setting (work, church, home).

This weeks discussion was really nice, I commented on two (2) of my colleagues and gave them some advice on what to add to their research papers. The two of them chose some good topics. I hope that they will publish their findings.

I submitted my component # 1 for my research paper on time. I also designed a sample for my questionnaire for my interviews. 

I read my course material and this assisted me in designing my questionnaire. Graded debates and components # 2 are due soon. I have contacted my partner and we created our group name "Survey Chicks :-)"

I am loving the way my Padlet looks and I have also seen the posts of a few of my colleagues. I must say that having a Padlet posted every week makes me reflect on my experience in this course. I must say I have definitely improved my posts from the first week of this course to now.

I posted my group name for the debate group. Other groups have some really great names for example Team Shekeria Chase & Deana Depeiza name "Conquerors". How lovely. 

This weeks discussion allowed me to distinguish between a population and a sample. Also, I posted my discussions on times

I hope next weeks runs smoothly.

This week i also worked on my research paper which is a bit of a challenge having debates on that same week. I will definitely try to work things out.

This week I submitted my discussions on time and replied to 2 of my peers. I also peruse the unit readings as well. Looking forwards to another good week.

To the end of last week Lisa and I teamed up against our opponents in a heated debate. Rebuttals were hitting me in the head like a bowling ball (lol). At the end, Survey Chicks pulled through and gave a wonderful rebuttal. I have confidence that we were victorious.

This week, I completed all my surveys and I will be compiling all the data  collected up until the submissions date.

It was really emotional interviewing persons who witness crimes. I believe that they should receive some counselling.

Lastly, I read the course unit which enabled me to complete my interviews effectively and completed my discussions on time.

I am currently working my research project and summing up all data findings. Although I would like the feedback on my TMA second submission to move forward. I hope that can get this feedback by early next weeks.

I read through my course materials and I submitted my Research Paper.

The marks for the debate were also posted, survey chicks did well. I would like to thank my partner Lisa Mohammed for teaming up with me for this debate. I will try to post in the Review forum through the lounge this week.

As we approach exams I would like to thank Miss Mohammed and Mr. Kelly for a great course delivery.

I completed all my weekly activities and I have submitted all my assignments for this course.

Final exams are fast approaching and I have followed the Course Coordinator's exam time table guidelines. It is really working for me.
