From the lyrics, to the vocals, to the instruments. Furthermore, it utilizes sounds put in artificially, like coins falling and a cash register opening, for an iconic intro. 
     When I went to go see Roger Waters on his Us + Them tour, which just ended in the States, a big part of it was an anti-Trump segment. Regardless of my personal views, I thought it was very brave and daring. As someone from England, Roger Waters gets to view the U.S. as an outsider, and he now stands up for anyone under oppression, like immigrants and minorities. When "Money" came on, a song about the effects of money and its power of corruption, Waters showed images of Trump, photoshopped pictures with the president's head on a baby, and displayed different questionable quotes of his. 
     Because Massachusetts leans more towards the liberal side, he was applauded; however, there were a few Trump supporters in the crowd who were not happy with the act. 4. In the 1980s, rock music was used for promotion and entertainment with music videos. Different groups used this, like Nirvana and Pearl Jam, to take political stances.
