Research/Technical Writing communicates necessary information in an accessible form. It helps develop project management, breaking down concepts to conclusion, concise language and process documents efficiently. 

 In the Shonto News, we give detail about the progress and applications that has been modified at Shonto Preparatory Technology High School. In the following reports you will be acquainted with the development that is being accounted and to provide a platform for students to express their ideas and creativity. Moreover, it can be instrumental in building peer-to-peer relationship to provide the students with a healthy and quality environment that helps to develop core skills, in both academic and extracurricular. 
    We are privileged to have the resources for a school newspaper in which students get to voice our opinions about what we are passionate about and also update our student body about any new and exciting things that are occurring. A high school newspaper is there to report the news, but also give students an outlet to express their views in said news, making it wholly unique. 
    We are aspired to have our own publication, in which is important to update the parents and fellow coworkers of the activities going on within the school, the accomplishments and projects of the school as a whole. Interviewing the fellow students is our job to manage your school's only form of self-expression, feeling connected to the institution. The Shonto News publication will play a vital role to advise students about events, occurrences on campus and informing the larger community about relevant events. 
    The dignity and reputation of the Shonto News rests on the degree of our allegiance to truth and fearless reporting is our most powerful tool in the analysis of our school. School newsfeed gives students a chance to express their participation in the discussion of social issues. Our overall conclusion of the Research/Technical Writing class is important for the students to feel that their voice matters in all issues.

Within the different variations of bullying, Baca acquainted the solution on how to encourage a safe school environment and to create a prevention strategy. Mr. Baca established how the school can respond to a bullying situation, he concluded that the school staff could enforce rules and polices that clearly describe how students are expected to treat each other. 

4 definitions of bullying:
1. Includes significant physical, emotional, or psychological harm to the victim.
2. Inability of the victim to stop the bully on his/her own.
3. A power unbalance in which  the bully holds more emotional, physical, or social influence than the victim. 
4. Repetitive actions committed by the bully that continue for an extended period. 
*Bullying can occur in virtually and interpersonal setting, it affects young people as well as adults.

4 bullying behaviors:
1. Physical bullying- physically assault their victim or intimidate their victims with physical violence. 
2. Verbal bullying- bullies mock, shame, and verbally abuse victims with the intent of causing fear or feelings of self-deprecation. 
3. Social or emotional bullying- spread harmful gossip, or intentionally exclude others with the intent of harming/destroying the victims' social standing or reputation.
4. Cyberbullying- bullies use electronic media, including social networks (among other medias) to target victims with text-based equivalents of verbal bullying.

Impacts and outcomes
People who are bullied are at increased risk for negative psychological and emotional impacts including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, alcohol/drug abuse, self-harm, criminal behavior and mental health problems. Advocates and educators of school administrations instruct the importance of implementing bullying prevention strategies. Maintaining positive relationship, building healthy friendship and set strategies can defuse tense interpersonal bullying strategies.

It is important to develop a school newsfeed because it serves a crucial motivation to share the responsibility of keeping the school informed on the environment around them. The main responsibilities on said of the Navajo Times department opened the students' perspectives on features of the process of publication, editing and layout, which students can apply when generating the schools' newsfeed. The staffs at the Navajo Times office educated us on how to properly construct and organize the newsfeed to firmly characterize and enlighten the audience. 
     The Navajo Times progression started in early 1980s and is a newspaper created by the Navajo Tribal Council in 1959. It it the first daily newspaper owned and published by they Navajo Nation. The Navajo Times is financially independent and the headquarters is located in Window Rock, Arizona. Over the past years, it's editorial staff has continually faced challenges for editorial control from political leaders and opponents. Under the leadership and publication, the newspaper has worked to maintain and promote freedom of the press. 
The purpose of visiting the Window Rock monument to me was to conclude the history, cultural significance and to pay my respect to the Navajo Veteran's Memorial. I thought the monument was beautiful and extraordinary because it was my first time there.  The Navajo Nation Museum was also extraordinary because it covered the fundamental information of the Long Walk, Silver Stars jewelry, Chief Manuelito and other Navajo leader, it was very insightful and I could use the gathered knowledge to apply in my Navajo Government class. 
In conclusion of the field trip, I would like to visit similar locations, close or far to gather new data to confine in my courses over the years. I like to learn about our cultural preferences background and inheritances. I would also like to take out of state field trips because I'm very interested in exploration and encountering new challenges that may lay ahead.
