Many students haven’t had the opportunity to appropriately communicate their feelings or words, we need to be there to encourage things positively and self learning for everyone.

If they have a difficult time with self regulation I have to help them regulate and help them learn to self regulate.

It impacts all facets of the job. If a child can't regulate how they feel, you can't possibly teach them the skills they need to know. If they're frustrated, they won't be open to anything you have to say. And each kid reacts differently so you constantly have to change how you approach them.

When a student has a hard time with understanding whether it's academics, making friends or just expressing their needs it can be difficult to know exactly what to do. But asking questions or try and buddy system for friendship can help.

Depends on if they are or are not ableto self regulate. If they have the ability then it allows them to be more independent allowing me to do my work more effectively. And if they don't have the ability to self regulate then they would need more of my time.
