A: YES! ALL of your Instructional Specialists received a 3 hour training on HMH Ed Online at their September meeting - so please reach out to them! Also, we do have an optional training on Dec. 4, and  will have 3 more optional training dates in the spring. The curriculum dept. also has a plan to vet & integrate more HMH materials into our units/lessons over the next couple of years, so that should help support finding "all the things" and knowing what to use to teach our TEKS.
...because HMH: IntoReading/Arriba de lectura is our adoption for the next 10 years, we only get a certain number of professional learning session, hence we have to ensure that all trainings we provide are open to the district, however please know that we are very intentional about ensuring we will all get trained. A: Yes! HMH decided to update their data system in September & it was supposed to be done by October...still waiting. We will let you know as soon as we have any more info. HMH knows we want it - as does the other 65% of the state that also adopted intoReading this year! Just know that iRead is storing students' data as they work through the learning & is adaptive, so it's giving students what they need as they work.
