secondly, she is confident. In the story, she was willing to ask as many people as possible even if there was a high chance of her being rejected or even yelled at. Moreover, she would be or take risks in order to find the clues to solving the crime. 

Thirdly, Pip is also highly intelligent and likes to think outside of the box and likes to challenge herself into doing different things which is a main reason as to why she was intrigued into solving a muder.

fourth, One of Pip's biggest personality traits is that she is very dedicated into doing what she likes.
