It energizes you into a state of being where you can be anything you want. Music makes you more aware of the world around you. For example, most rappers came from a rough background filled with gangs, poverty, and crime; but they use their memories and stories as fuel to rap and speak to us through music. Rap gets a bad name for its thug persona but lyrically it is the best music to date. These rappers can take their life stories and mold them into lyrics for a song for others to enjoy. They're very open and casual about their lives and often include very personal moments that have taken place. I feel like for them it is way of therapy to get out all the feelings from the events that have occurred in their life.
