         <description><![CDATA[<div>Leaders from Britain saw it nearly impossible to collect any money from the stamp acts so parliament voted to repeal the stamp act in 1766. then the colonies celebrated with parades and fireworks. then Britain decided to make a new law for imported goods, Tariff a tax on imported goods. Britain hoped the colonists would pay tariffs so they can show who is in charge. colonists decided to boycott Britain goods. But then they still needed the supplies so then the women joined and made the items they needed instead of getting the goods from Britain.</div>]]></description>
