3 Truths and a Lie by walla afana https://padlet.com/wallaafana11/tirkrp2fb1zksnxo Three Truths and a Lie is a fun and engaging icebreaker activity. Each participant writes three true statements and one false statement about themselves in random order. Participants read each other’s posts and use the thumbs up to vote for the statements they think are true, and the thumbs down to vote on the one they believe is false. In addition to voting, each participant is asked to comment on at least three different posts, explaining their guesses (e.g., “I think #3 is the lie because…”). Once everyone has participated in the activity, each participant will reveal their false statement on the debrief section. Participants will then discuss what they learned about each other and take time to answer the debrief questions as a reflection. Debrief questions: 1. What surprised you about your classmates? 2. It really shows how diverse and talented this group is!

2) I looked for the one that seemed a little bit too unusual. Sometimes it’s the wording or how surprising it is that makes it stand out. I just trusted my instincts!
3) They help break the ice and give us a chance to learn fun and unexpected things about each other. It’s a great way to spark conversations and find common interests or surprises that help us feel more connected.

1.What surprised me about my classmates is that we all have things in common such as having kids, running businesses and more.

2.I decided which statements were false by comparing all statements and picking the one that seemed unlikely.

3.Activities can help build relationships by telling people a bit about yourself often you are able to relate in some sort of way and connect with others.
