Hello 5th Grade Families,

We hope you and your families are safe and doing well after Hurricane Milton! As we continue to get back on track, we understand that some of you may still be experiencing challenges. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher if you're facing any issues post-hurricane. We’re here to help!

iReady Updates
This past week, we’ve experienced some on-and-off issues with iReady since returning after the hurricane. We want to assure you that we're keeping a close eye on the situation. While we expect iReady to be working well into the start of this upcoming week, if any issues arise, we will make necessary adjustments to teacher-assigned lessons to ensure that learning continues smoothly.

Assignment Adjustment
Due to these technical issues, we’ve made an adjustment to one of the teacher-assigned lessons. The "Close Reading: Understanding Structure in Poetry" lesson, which was originally assigned on October 17th, will now be due on October 23rd. This extension should give students plenty of time to complete the lesson without the added stress of technical difficulties.

Upcoming Week Schedule
In the meantime, please plan to continue following the schedule of assignments listed below for this upcoming week. As always, if we encounter further iReady issues, we will adjust accordingly and keep you informed.
