That year I was determined to make friends. After asking many people to hangout after school and countless time socializing during school hours, I had made my first new friend that year, Sophie. Soon after, I had made other friends Val, Kadyn, Chloe, and many others. Introducing my friend groups to another was one of the best choices I've made. Back in New York, practically since birth my best friends were Leila and Samantha. By the time I was in 1st grade Samantha had moved away to North Carolina. Of course me and Leila were devastated, but even going long periods without communication, anytime we met again, we got along like sisters. By third grade, I had moved down to Florida. We were all separated but just like we had with Samantha, we all kept in touch and visited often.
