Where it is not a time of sadness but a time of remembrance. I made the skull for my grandmother who died almost 3 years ago. I use to give her drawings as a kid and she would hang them on her bathroom door. Making the skull I was not worried about if it turned out perfect or not because I know she would have liked it no matter what. Making this was fun and almost soothing when I got to sit and work without anyone bothering me. My main flowers was the sunflower and the red rose on the side. The red rose was my grandmas favorite flower and the sunflower is mine. We us to walk by some sunflowers almost everyday and I loved how they always face the sun. I took this to a personal meaning to always find the positive in things no matter how tough the going gets.
