Even the things that don't feel good, like grief, anger, and betrayal. Everything that we go through in the present, does not entail how it will work for us in the future.  So after you are out of a situation, and you aren't so focused on that moment, your view changes as well. Often when I am faced with calamity, I remember something that I was taught in church. Raw eggs by themselves are not appetizing, neither is flour, or vanilla extract.
