Targets:
Soil testing the whole farm must be of the greatest importance as this is the starting point to the reseeding program. A soil test was carried out in 2015. So a review should take place to see how effective Paul was at increasing required index's and is a new approach needed.
Also a plan on what way larger fields could be split, with a plan as to how a water pipe line could be fitted, including what pipe size and trough size is needed
Use of a Grass 10 Wall chart to recognize which fields are grazed least often and to ear mark these for reseeding as this will see the greatest return on investment, providing extensive reclamation does not need to be carried out.

Targets:
This will be the year when the reseeding continues on from what was carried out prior to the five year program. A target of 5-8% of the farm for reseeding should be achievable, while also leaving money to invest in other aspects of the plan such as the other main point for this year, which will be the implementation of a water supply on the out block. This will allow for increased utilization of grass with the use of reels and standers currently on the farm. Stocking rate can also be increased now due to expected increased grass growth

Targets:
Drainage work will be the main aspect of the farm for year 3. The first thing that needs to be established is the type of drainage. Given most fields have hills, drainage across the hill would be best to catch most water. The cost benefit must also be looked at to see if it is worth while. The fields for reclamation work should also be targeted for reseeding.
The use of Pasteurebase should now be implemented to measure grass weekly on the farm and identify surpluses and deficits. Given the long wintering period these surplus bales will be very beneficial. The potential of building a shed or converting a current machinery shed into winter housing should take place.
