2. I am excited to get started. However my concern is HOW ready am I?
I have observed parts of a functioning OLC, read about it etc. But am a little nervous as to whether I am professionally ready or not? So my question is when will training/PD be implemented. Is it something we can request now?

One parent who is actually moving their child from the College expressed a couple of concerns: One was that her child was in the same room as his cousin. There is a sense of over familiarity as they are a close knit community. Also she felt that her child was often left to his own devices and wasn't being pushed enough. Unless continually supervised and directed, the child completes little work. 

2. I am extremely excited about open classrooms. The advantages are numerous. 
One of many is that as teachers we all have our strengths and learn from one another. Three teachers rather than one is also more likely to cater to differentiated learning.
