Firstly, our sins are forgiven when we practice correct amal because righteous deeds demonstrate repentance, sincerity, and obedience to Allah, which attract His mercy. Good actions purify the heart and compensate our past mistakes. Thus, it shows a genuine effort to follow Allah’s guidance To seek Allah's pleasure. “Indeed, good deeds wipe out misdeeds.

Secondly, students need to practice the correct ‘amal brings barakah in their studies. For instance , when a student prays on time, respects teachers, avoids cheating, and seeks knowledge with sincere intention, Allah blesses their time and effort. Even with limited hours, they can understand and remember more compared to someone who spends long hours without focus. This barakah makes learning easier, brings peace of mind, and helps the knowledge stay useful in life.

Thirdly, doing righteous things greatly increases our faith. Even if it just a small one, it does count as a good thing. Whenever we do something good, or just by thinking it ,acknowledge it that it is from Allah SWT itself as a sign to guide you. Doesn't matter how many sins you have made, because there's always a chance to improve yourself as long as you're breathing. Every good things, is an opportunity for us to do.

Fourthly, when a person continuously practices good deeds with sincerity, Allah brings them closer to Him. This closeness is a special connection that makes their prayers (dua) more powerful and likely to be answered. Allah loves those who remain consistent in worship and righteous actions, because it shows sincerity, patience, and true faith.By living a life of istiqamah , a believer’s heart becomes purer and more humble, which makes their dua more easily accepted. Allah promises to grant the wishes of those who turn to Him with sincerity and consistency.

Lastly, practising correct and sincere deeds not only benefits us in this world but also ensures safety in the Hereafter. Allah SWT promises in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 82, that those who believe and do righteous deeds will be admitted into Paradise and remain there forever. This shows that good deeds performed sincerely and in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ serve as a shield from the punishment of Hellfire.

In conclusion, correct amal, when done sincerely for Allah and following the Sunnah, leads to forgiveness, blessings, guidance, protection, and eternal reward. It is a path to both worldly goodness and everlasting success in the hereafter.

The purpose of creation is centered on the worship of Allah S.W.T., as established in Surah al-Dhariyat, which states that jinn and mankind were created solely for this purpose. This act of worship, or Ibadah, fosters moral discipline, spiritual purification, and Taqwa (God-consciousness). Through the sincere performance of these rituals, believers can gain the pleasure of Allah and understand the deeper wisdom behind their religious obligations.

Each specific act of worship provides unique spiritual benefits and moral guidance. Salah (prayer) is established to prohibit immorality and wrongdoing while instilling a constant remembrance and fear of Allah. Sawm (fasting) serves to develop discipline and empathy by weakening the influence of Satan and recognizing Allah's constant observation. Zakah (charity) functions to purify the self and wealth, cleansing the believer of bad traits and sins while providing essential support to the needy. Finally, Hajj (pilgrimage) disciplines the believer to follow divine commandments by requiring the avoidance of disputes and indecent acts, emphasizing that the best provision is the fear of Allah

WEEK 3:THE PREPARATION OF SALAH WITH KHUSHU’

The preparation for Salah with khushu' can be summarized into three primary dimensions:

1. The Legal Foundation (Validity and Pillars)

A valid prayer is built upon fulfilling specific prerequisites and essential actions:

• Prerequisites (Syarat Sah): One must ensure ritual purity (freedom from hadas), cleanliness of the body, clothing, and place, covering of the aurat, facing the Qiblah, and certainty of the prayer time.

• Essential Pillars (Rukun): The prayer must include 13 mandatory elements, ranging from the intention (Niat) and Al-Fatihah to the final Salam, performed in the correct sequence (Tertib).

• Purification: Proper Wuduk (ablution) or Tayammum (if water is unavailable or harmful) acts as the physical gateway to prayer.

2. Physical and Environmental Readiness

To minimize distractions and respect the sanctity of worship, specific physical preparations are recommended:

• Physical State: It is makruh (disliked) to pray while resisting the urge to use the bathroom, when extremely sleepy, or when food is served while one is hungry.

• Hygiene and Presentation: Preparation includes using a siwak (toothstick), wearing clean clothes, and avoiding overeating before prayer.

• Atmosphere: Choosing a quiet location without disturbances is essential for maintaining focus.

3. Cultivating Khushu' (Spiritual Presence)

While khushu' is considered sunnah (recommended) rather than a mandatory pillar, it is the soul of the prayer. It is achieved through:

• Mental Focus: Understanding and contemplating the meaning of the recitations while realizing one is in a private conversation (munajat) with Allah.

• Composure: Performing movements calmly (tamaninah) rather than rushing, and keeping the gaze fixed on the place of prostration.

• Discipline: Reducing unnecessary movements and actively pushing away worldly thoughts or obsessive doubts (was-was) during the prayer.
