My mini lesson is just teaching about the different layers of the epidermis. My concern is the link to the big picture. I am not sure what that should look like. I would like to 'turn the students loose' and have them work on something related to the mini lesson. The way I have it set up is for them to actually learn new content but it is based on the layers of the epidermis. Not sure if I missed the mark on that. Suggestions are much appreciated!
