         <title>The Life and Writings of Dulce Maria Loynaz.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Dolce Maria Loynaz was born in Havana City on December 10, 1902.&nbsp; She lived her life in Cuba and passed away on April 27, 1997.&nbsp; She started writing poems in her teens and early twenties while she attended college to earn a law degree.&nbsp; She would live most of her life practicing law but deep down truly hated it.&nbsp; Loynaz stopped practicing law in 1961. &nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;Her first poems would be published in 1920 and it was titled 'La Nacion'.&nbsp; She wrote most of her works in a feminist view.&nbsp; Loynaz's first and only novel was published in 1951 titled 'Jardin'.&nbsp;<br>   During her career as a poet the nation was going through a lot of changes.  Women got the chance to finally vote and women were starting to make a name for their self.  This was the perfect time for her debut and a great time for her writings to flourish.   The years leading up to her death, Dulce Maria Loynaz became distant was not heard of for many years.  &nbsp;<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
