People should read this story as it describes a thrilling story that provides the point of view of an amputee. The overarching theme from the story is that giving and receiving support from your peers goes a long way. At first, the story has a mood full of despair and sorrow. However, as the story progresses, it gives a more thrilling and triumphant mood. A personal connection that I have with this story involves accepting support from your peers. After all, you are not alone. If you were in this kind of situation, people would want to help you. This book is a great pick for someone to read. Especially when there are very few books like it.
