here are some of the articles of the childrens rights

Article 1 - Definition of child

The convention affects all children. If you are under 18 years of age, you are a child, and therefore you are protected by this convention.


Article 2 - The right not to be discriminated

The convention must be applied to all children without any discrimination:

- You have the right to be respected, whether you are a girl or a boy, regardless of your state of health, your social or ethnic origin, the language you speak, your religion, your opinions or your nationality.

- You have the right to equality; This means that governments must respect and protect your rights, in the same way as those of other children.


Article 3 - The right to well-being

1. In all the decisions that have to do with you, your interests must be taken into account.

2. The state must protect and guarantee your well-being if your parents cannot do it.

3. The state must guarantee that all the institutions in charge of your well-being (schools, the police, etc.) help you and protect you effectively.


Article 4 - The right to exercise your rights


The state must take all necessary measures to allow you to exercise all your rights, recognized as such by the Convention.


Article 5 - The right to be guided by your parents

The state must respect the right and obligation of your parents to guide and advise you in the exercise of your rights and in the development of your abilities.
