  • Make the story interesting, have there be a big fight or a huge stressor
Embrace how personal a story can be
  • Making the story involve you and make you feel scared about how raw and sensitive you are
Don’t worry about picking a theme or a genre
  • If you restrict yourself to one idea you're not going to get a creative enough story
Let yourself write freely 
  • Follow the story and allow yourself to follow whatever youfind
