Measles was a negative health outcome during the Columbian Exchange(Columbian Exchange, 2010). This affected the Native people in the New World which was the Americas. The Europeans came to the New World and spread it (Columbian Exchange, 2010). Measles was a disease where a skin rash occurs, runny nose, inflamed eyes, and a fever (Measles History, 2020). The Native Americans were not previously exposed to this, so they had no defenses (Columbian Exchange, 2010).
