The first influencer I want to talk about isn't essentially my go to but I will never skip her content if I see that she posted. QueenCityTrends also known as Vidya and she is a South Asian, american content creator who focuses a lot on lifestyle, fashion and family content. Specifically I want to share a video of hers that includes her daughter Sahana, who is a young teenager. She is helping her daughter save her unibrow and upper lip hair, she shares that she was made fun of at that age and when her daughter asked why she never did this at her age she shares that her mother never let her. They share a cute hug and make it a sweet moment, to most other people this wouldn’t seem like a big deal but growing up as a South Asian woman with internet access at a young age but also just the social beauty standards. I find this as such an important thing to be shared and spoken about, not only the mother breaking the cycle but bringing awareness to things people aren’t talking about. She is also someone to admire in the sense that they are a wealthier family and talk a lot about privilege and how they worked hard to get there. Not in a bragging sense or a “we’re better than you” but that they came from nothing and didn’t understand why a family of color also couldn’t be up there in the elites and enjoy the same luxuries as others and wanted to work hard to earn it for themselves.

2. The second influencer I really like to support is SweatingNapTime, she is an influencer mom who makes a lot of content revolving around being a full time working mother while also juggling all the duties of running a household and also having other outside hobbies such as becoming a spin instructor. I think she has super realistic content in terms of showing what her day is like and her actual thoughts. A lot of social media is a huge PR stunt and all pretty staged but she does it to the least amount she needs to have to make her content still aesthetically pleasing but relatable. I think her content is a lot of what I’d like my future to look like knowing that I will be working full time along with my partner to support my family and trying to still savor my independence outside the home as well as having hobbies and new interests to explore.

https://www.instagram.com/reel/C_q8GXdys6c/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

3. Lastly another influencer who I believe has such captivating content but not in the way that you would think is KaitlynEats. She is a food blogger from New York City who is eating her way through the TOp 100 rated restaurants in the city. She doesn’t have any fun editing techniques or anything crazy but just the ease she speaks about the food, tries new places and cuisines and her branding. She has the same pitch that she starts her videos off with alongside a few food shots and it works in hooking the hungry audience (clearly). I’ve always wanted to live in New York for a job or even an internship. Most creators focus on the party life or how expensive the city life is. I’m not saying she doesn’t hit on those aspects but she is real about the bill at the end of her meal and just how the city works for her career that is a different perspective and privilege. Again another trait I admire is transparency and also just reality.

https://www.tiktok.com/@kaitlyneats/video/7357870273674104096?is_from_webapp=1&sender_device=pc&web_id=7413422858175170054

Mixed Martial Academic is a long-form MMA video on YouTube. The videos are documentary-styled on various MMA fighters and scandals in the MMA promotion companies. my favourite videos this channel puts out are the ones that touch on the mental health of fighters and how hidden it can be. The video I linked is about the Lee family and the news that shocked the MMA community. The video went into depth on the history of the family and their journey to become champions and also the reason they decided to shut down their gym and retire from fighting together due to the death of the youngest daughter in the Lee family. the video is very well done and can be understood by anyone even those who don't watch MMA. Mixed Martial Academic inspired me a lot with choosing to go into PR, he also creates the type of videos i occasionally aspire to create.

Angela Lee Pucci is a retired MMA champion who now runs a non-profit mental health organization named FightStory. Angela often posts about FightStory on her Instagram. She is one of my favourite people to follow due to her work in athlete mental health. He edits all his videos for tiktok and styles each outfit on top of being a model, he also attended the met gala. wisdoms content is very fun and outgoing and he occasionally slips in silent but strong messages within his videos.

Collete Davis is a professional racer and former monster truck driver, she is from LA, California. Many people may know her from the LZ world tour which was held at ICAR motorsports in Montreal. In which consists of a series of drivers performing world class drifting, and live music performances. Collete started kart racing when she was just 15 years old which quickly made a name for herself. Not only is Davis known for racing, but she is an entrepreneur as well, in 2017 she was TLC's host of "Girl Starter" which was a competition TV show for female entrepreneurs. I have always shared a passion/love for cars with my dad, ever since I was a little girl. My first car Is a 2003 mustang gt and i love watching influencers that also share the same passion, especially when they are girls since its usually men that are famous when it comes to anything car related.

http://www.youtube.com/@ColleteDavis

Calley Blue is another influencer that i have been following for a couple of years now. She is 24 years old and from the U.S. She is known for her TikTok account which has 1.2 million followers, where she usually posts food content, where crawfish is the most featured. The reason why I've chosen to list her for this assignment, would be because not only is she entertaining to watch, but she is also pretty funny and overall seems to be a genuine person. She has a brother named JD, he was diagnosed with mitochondrial disorder at the age of 2, and Lesch Nyhan syndrome at the age of 5, which means he requires full time care. There are only 380k males in the world with this syndrome. Calley loves to feature her brother JD, and is always taking the best care of him while making him laugh.

Calley Blue (@calleyblue) | TikTok

Lastly, another influencer who inspires me would be Victoria Paris. I admire people that are able to show the real raw hardships of life, while also showing that hard work pays off and that you can be successful no matter what you may be going through.

Victoria Paris (@victoriaparis) Official | TikTok
