Achohol can affect a baby is that it increases the risk of miscarriage, premature birth and the baby having a low birth weight. It can also affect the baby even when they are born as well as the baby could develop a serious condition called foetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD)

Rubella is an illness that causes a spotty rash, this can become fatal for a pregnant woman.
If a woman who is pregnant contracts rubella, there is a higher risk of miscarriage or still birth. If it does not cause this then there are high chances that the child's body will have life long consequences. These could be deafness, low birth weight or intellectual disabilities. There are also less common symptoms such as inflammation of the lungs.
