Positive Outcome- The Development of a sense of pride and competition with other people. This can be in school work, sports, and social activities, family, and life. 

Negative outcome - The feeling of inferiority can be developed. According to Bee, what should happen at the end of this stage is “a reintegrated sense of self, of what one wants to do or be, and of one’s appropriate sex role.” During this stage, the body image of the adolescent changes.
Positive outcome- The teen will develop a strong sense of self if needs are met.
Negative outcome-If needs are not met, the teen will struggle to form an identity.
