The use of satellite navigation is able to pick up an aray of information such as tattoos, facial recognitions, previous criminals and other various modifications. This can be shown through the New York Chief of Intelligence Thomas P. Galati, who was able to track down and arrest a convicted terrorist Faisal Shahzad within 53 hours of the offence, who was shown to attempt to detonate a car bomb in Times Square.

For example, hunting for gun man, searching for drugs and also looking for missing children.

Catherine Burn Deputy Commissioner states that these drones are life saver in situation where life are being threatened, e,g. bomb threats instead of police getting too close, a drone can get close take photos of the bomb this will allow police to figure out strategies of disarming without getting close to it.

It also promote legitimacy and accountability by eliminating any and all reasons to be suspicious of police conduct. In this way, body worm cameras can both benefit the police and the justice/judicial system.

However, the limitation of body worm cameras as presented by the Queensland police force is the high cost associated with this piece of equipment. According to Fraser (2015), body worm cameras were an option where a police privately purchased their own cameras. Another issue that arose was the problem of maintenance for both the cameras and footage storage.

Why: To spy on criminal activity

How: By testing drones, to spy on criminal activity, it will also help with land and sea searches and access to potential bomb threats

Pros:
- Lighweight
- Cost effective (.70c an hour to run)
- Fly lower then conventional aircrafts
- Can record visions to computers or cameras
- Thermal imaging could enable search and rescue operations

Cons:
- Restricted by weather conditions
- Rules and regulations of how close you can get

- Motorcycle and mounted response squad
- Dog unit
- Gangs squad
- Traffic and highway patrol
- Domestic and family violence teams
- Local/regional enforcement squads
With the phone the police can now access:
- Police databases
- Generic phone useage
- Digitize notes
- Photo and video recording (as a follow up tool, not replacing forensics)
Other benefits of the device:
- Increases safety of officers, as there is GPS tracking
- Increases response time to crimes
- Access background checks etc without having to go back to the police vehicle
