Peter Benson is angry because the closure of the tracks stereotyped all aboriginal corporations in being the bad people, which is not true because the local Aboriginals what to visit where there heritage. On 23 of December 2014 Federal Court decided that tracks south of Sea Devil Rivulet and some coastal track was to closed for ATV's, two-wheelers and  off-road vehicles. The law states if you are caught of the main tracks of the Arthur-Pieman with a off road vehicle you will be copped with hefty fines. I remember Dad telling me stories of going to the cape via coastal way diving off the shore and floundering off the coastal beaches, I wished I could do it for my self. The Arthur-Pieman tracks are between the Arthur River and the Pieman river in the North-West coast of Tasmania and has been used by off road enthusiasts and keen fisherman of many years. On the 23th of December, after a Federal ruling all tracks south of the Sea Devil Rivulet and most coastal tracks were closed to all offroad 4x4 or ATV uses. The Federal Court made its desision off that the off road vehicles are wreaking the Aboriginal artifacts and sacred sights. This made the local Aboriginals Corporations (CHAC) mad because they never wanted the Tracks to be closed.
